The Albany Public Schools foundation's efforts to help classroom teachers by providing class room grants has grown by leaps and bounds over the past 20 years. This past school year $40,000 was given for classroom grants to classroom teachers desiring to make a bigger impact in their classrooms with specialized lessons and equipment.
