We adopted Travis in 2011. Travis was more than a dog he was family. He was by my side every where. He had flaws but so did I. I could never replace him . Travis recently passed after fighting a bout with cancer and a bad heart . He was still able to lick my hand and wag his tail and still stayed by my side until his last breath. I served in the Airborne Infinitary two tours in Vietnam and never thought of my self as a wuss . When I lost my Travis a piece of me died with him. I have never felt such hurt or cried as mush as I have loosing him. I don't think the hurt will ever go away. I will miss him til the day I die. I am grateful to Pa. Boxer for allowing Travis into my life we were perfect fit everyone saw it. My vet said that I didn't own Travis but that Travis owned me , and I loved my owner with all I had.
