I came across Pathways To Volunteering via its Facebook Page. There I saw a post regarding a fundraiser they were doing for an organization here named Heart Beat. For almost a year I watched the work PTV was doing in Kathmandu. I came to realize they were a good organization.

I reached out to Craig how could I get involved with the Nepal PTV Team, since I live in Kathmandu. He replied and explained how I could get involved. The first event I did was with Heart Beat. Heart Beat is an orphanage for abandon children. The activity would involve meeting the orphans and handing out winter clothing to them. The team leader Suman provided us all with PTV t-shirts, which was cool seeing us all wearing one.

I have done two volunteer activities with PTV, and both were well organized. I'm thankful I found PTV to get involved and give back. They allowed me to help my community, and that meant so much to me.

Social work is my purpose, my life's passion - helping those in need. Thank you, PTV for all you have given me. You're doing good work in Nepal.
