One Community Now has been serving the local community for over 10 years. With the executive director Patti Templeton at the helm, the staff and dedicated volunteers there has been huge growth in the services offered.
The veterans program has expanded from a one day event to three days. With additional veteran services added beyond the annual event. The Pack A Sack and hot meal programs have grown to additional schools and locations.
Connections merging with One Community Now has increased the reach into the community by offering people help with resumes and learning the tools they need to succeed at an interview.
One Community Now is always looking to see where they can serve a need in the community. I am excited to see what will be offered in the coming years.

One Community Now has served the Pasco County community for 10 years. I'm so blessed and honored to serve on their board. It's wonderful to have seen first hand how this organization has grown from just a few schools on the Pack A Sack program to now serving over 1300 children each weekend and having only a one day Stand Down for at risk and homeless veterans to a 3 day event where veterans can get medical and dental treatments, clothing, showers, a place to sleep and assistance from numerous organizations and even attend a job fair. The neighborhood transformation program which started as a hot meal site has grown into a place where families come together for fellowship and food. There are programs available for both the kids and adults.
Every year each of the programs grow thanks to the dedication of the Executive Director, Patti and to the devoted volunteers who work hard and give of their time.
