Review for Golden Retriever Club of Greater Los Angeles Rescue, Los Angeles, CA, USA
The members of the board of directors and volunteers main focus is to make a proper match between the rescue and their human to minimize the chances of the rescue being returned due to unmet expectations of the human. GRCGLA Rescue is known for helping older harder to adopt seniors (other rescue organizations will only help the easier to adopt young Goldens). If the rescues are in kennels it because there are not enough volunteer foster homes. While I have failed at fostering (I have adopted a foster) - I have been involved in the placement with wonder familes of numerous of my fosters. My life has been touched by fostering and volunteering with GRCGLA Rescue in ways I cannot describe.

I've personally experienced the results of this organization in...
witnessing thoughtful placements of the Goldens in homes that are a good match.
If I had to make changes to this organization, I would...
n't
What I've enjoyed the most about my experience with this nonprofit is...
the love the volunteers have for the Goldens.
The kinds of staff and volunteers that I met were...
very caring and absolutely love Goldens.
If this organization had 10 million bucks, it could...
help more Goldens.
Ways to make it better...
I had gotten involved with GRCGLA Rescue much earlier-I never considered anyone would every give up a Golden.
In my opinion, the biggest challenges facing this organization are...
not enough foster homes.
One thing I'd also say is that...
My first GRCGLA Rescue adoptee is so very special (he's a certified therapy dog) and I am so lucky he (and all my other adoptees') is a member of my family. Thank you GRCGLA Rescue volunteers for your dedication.
