I adopted my Kauai HS pup after their transfer program flew him to Seattle. I have since been connected with several of their dedicated volunteers and know just how much they care for their animals. They work so hard to keep them happy while they’re in the shelter go to great lengths to get them adopted to loving families. I have even started volunteering to overnight foster animals coming from KHS on their way to an east coast animal rescue. They are a really great organization that is invaluable to the animals (and animal lovers) of Kauai and the animal rescues around the US they are connected with.
