I have never adopted a dog from a humane society before. This was my first experience. Jeannie Kocik was my contact person through this process. I'm the proud parent of one of Willia's pups. I have a 15 year old Treeing Walker Coonhound and had a 14 year old I had to put down Nov 2017. A friend at work brought Willia and her babies to my attention and from that moment I knew i was going to adopt one of her babies. I made an appointment with Jeannie iand drove to see the babies. I picked one out and already had her name picked out as well. What surprised me is, I would get updates on her weight ,shots and pictures of my girl until I could bring her home. All the volunteers there were so helpful through the process. Even after I brought her home they were always commenting on my post of her on Facebook. I have encouraged others looking for dogs or cats to look at their page for animals up for adoption. Zinna reminds me of my Zepher that I had to put to sleep, down to some of the markings they share. When another time comes where I'm able to adopt again, i will definitely be coming back to them. 1st picture is Zephers heart on left and Zinnas on right.
