Over the past 30 years I’ve both volunteered at the shelter, fostered and adopted some wonderful animals from KHS. They’re always there for Kauai’s abandoned and unwanted animals. They get everything from rabbits to horses and do everything possible to find them loving homes, either here or on the mainland. Their innovative programs like mainland transfers and letting tourists take a dog out for the day is innovative and helps save lives. I hope anyone reading this will help out either financially or by taking a dog out on a field trip on their next visit to Kauai.
