My husband and I opted to take a dog on a "field trip" while on vacation in Kauai, and ended up gaining another member to our family. Thanks to the hard work of staff at Kauai Humane Society, our new dog (Tiny Tim/"Teeko") arrived in Seattle that same week. KHS took care of all of the logistics of bringing Teeko home to us, including getting a kennel, arranging air transportation, and getting him to the airport. The shelter area appeared clean, organized, and all of the animals appeared well looked after. It was clear that the animals were loved and appreciated by all of the staff there.
