My dog, Jake, needed help with his anxiety and I was lucky I found Pam, Doing Right by Rescue. Jake had mental health issues as well as medical issue, he was severely epileptic and had severe anxiety. You would not believe the damage my dog did. One time, Jake ripped my freezer door off the hinges, chewed through a chained link fence, closet doors torn to shreds and MORE. If I didn’t get him help I knew he was going to hurt himself.

I think Pam worked more with me than Jake. Pam taught me tricks to keep Jake calm and relax him, telling touches, music and how my behavior impacted him too. Pam would reassured me that I was a good dog owner, she would listen to me talk about my frustration, concerns, etc. She believed in my family.

After the passing of Jake, and it was time to adopt a new pup, I contacted Pam and she met us at the rescue and helped me and husband find the perfect match. Pam (as well as her husband) stayed with us during the entire adoption, walking dogs, talking with us and reassuring us. Needless to say, we wound up coming home with 2 beautiful, perfect puppies, Brandy and Porter.

Pam is an amazing person, the love she has for animals and people is unbelievable.
