There are very few small non-profits like this who place an emphasis on literacy programs and providing scholarships for educating indigenous girls starting in 6th grade. I am blessed to have met Yolanda (Yoli), the first scholarship recipient in 2006, and visit her home several years later. She completed her university degree in 2013 and was the only indigenous representative from Mexico at the United Nations Youth Forum last year! I am honored to support them this little organization who is making a powerful difference not only in these young women's lives and communities, but in our world.
