I read about One Spirit when trying to find the best ways to help indigenous people in my region of the country. This is a direct, clearly-communicating heartfelt, and transparent organization. When I donate to things like their firewood fund during winter months, I always get an email response from an actual person at the organization about how much they appreciate it. What is most impressive to me, though is that their work is embraced by the elders at Pine Ridge.
