Review for Clementine Ranch, Herriman, UT, USA

Rating: 5 stars

I have been a volunteer since January 2018. I have learned so, so much during my experience at Clementine Ranch. I started out dumping, scrubbing and refilling water dishes for a small section of the ranch once a week. Now I am a team leader for a crew of volunteers twice a week. I know how to feed all the animals on the ranch, I know their names; over 150 animals and this ranch has come to be one of the most important places in my life. I have seen many of the animals I love, that have been fortunate enough to call this place home, leave this world after living out their lives in a safe sanctuary. They are the fortunate ones, the ones who get to be loved, named and know freedom. Without a place like Clementine Ranch they would never have been able to experience a real life. I get to see new animals come; they are scared, broken, uncared for. I see them grow, come into their personalities and learn to accept human touch. I have become so attached to all of these animals; they are individuals with distinct personalities and they have learned to know me, recognize my voice and respond to me. It's an amazing feeling, we have created bonds, friendships and trust. This sanctuary is truly a magical place for both the humans who embrace it and the animals who live here. I feel extremely grateful to be a part of it all.

Ching Farm Rescue and Sanctuary is the most amazing place. The animals who get to call this sanctuary home are absolutely fortunate and loved. Faith is a woman of pure strength, knowledge and compassion who selflessly gives of herself daily to the care and support of their wellbeing. She continuously educates volunteers so that they can assist her to provide for these precious beings. As a nonprofit this sanctuary relies on the generosity of others who acknowledge the importance of what it means to recognize that all lives matter. Ching Farm is a part of my life... the animals and people.
