As a teacher with a local school district, I introduced several of my students to the center as an avenue for research. The staff couldn't have been more helpful. One of my students brought a WWII Japanese flag to school. A member of the research staff took the time to research the background of the flag and was even able to narrow down the location of the pilot during the war because of the Japanese writing on the flag. She provided a complete translation of the writing and a box to preserve it in. I have also been to various lectures at the Center that have enhanced my historical knowledge and the museum exhibits are excellent.
