I have been a volunteer with Friendship Bridge for one year. A year ago, I had the opportunity to find this organization because I wanted to give back to my country. I was born and raised in Guatemala, I know how hard it is when you are not lucky enough to have an education. This organization empowers women to build their own dream businesses and work solutions out of poverty. The indigenous woman is very smart and determined to make a difference in their communities. I am very glad I found this amazing organization that is building better lives for Guatemalan women. Every day I get inspired by every client story and how far they have come. It is true that women are the solution for poverty, they just need more opportunities to end poverty in Guatemala and around the world. I know how professional, knowledgeable, and genuinely caring this organization is. I feel privileged to be a part of Friendship Bridge.
