Tanya Snell, who runs Happy Wings Sanctuary, is the most devoted and passionate rescuer I have ever known. Her entire life is devoted to rescuing, rehabilitating and rehoming (to approved owners) every kind of pet bird! She always goes the extra mile with her birds; makes sure they are vetted regularly, fed good, nutritious food, have clean, large and stimulating environments and are talked to, handled and engaged every day. Her days start early and she works tirelessly every day to give her rescues every advantage to experience their best life. She also rescues ducks, geese and chickens and LOVES them ALL dearly. She is so enthusiastic about and committed to every bird in her care. I honestly don't know how she does it, but she is one of my heroes and I have the utmost respect for her!!! She is absolutely AWESOME!!!
