The Greater Port Jefferson Arts council is a wonderful community asset. If the only thing GPJAC produced was the annual DICKENS FESTIVAL, that would be phenomenal, but GPJAC does so much more including the Port Jefferson Documentary Series, WinterTide, Sunset Concerts, the Fiddle & Folk Festival, the PJ Sea Music Festival, the Cedar Beach Blues on the Harbor and so much more. Also, the GPJAC is an active community partner working with many other nonprofits and individuals. You can always turn to the GPJAC for greater programming and community spirit!

GPFF has provided me with the opportunity to put words and ideas into action. Of all the programming work I have done, programming for GPFF is the most rewarding. The festival not only gives me the opportunity to share my skills, but to engage with and learn from others in the process.

Programming for the Global Peace Film Festival keeps me grounded in the possibilities for positive change rather than overwhelmed by the scope of the challenges before us.

Global Peace Film Festival exhibits compelling films and arts programming, but, more than that, GPFF provides a hub for community engagement and activity that goes well beyond the mandate of film festivals catering to only to film buffs and cinephiles. GPFF is story and community in action!
