I've volunteered and sat on the Board of a wide variety of non-profit environmental and aid organizations over the years. In my view, Well Aware is outstandingly different for two reasons: 1) they have developed a program that is set up for long-term success in the water supply/aid world by tapping highly-qualified technical volunteer expertise to find the most sustainable water sources, keep costs of delivery low, and providing a transparent & efficient financial program to support it all; and 2) they monitor their success not only on gallons delivered, but also the impacts to education, health, and community stability for the areas they serve.
