Well Aware came to my community to drill a well (bole hole) and they did not just drill a well, they created a community of love and purpose around the well project. They visited the local school, local church, local clinic and neighbours of International Peace Initiatives, the holders of the project. On their last day they created a community fire where everyone could come and share stories! It was fun, fun, fun! A year later, they came to assess the project, asked what more we need, and went on to install a tank and water pipes to bring the water to the children's home, where they are planning to instal a large water tank so that the home, nearby school and clinic have clean water all year through. They really ARE the best partner I have experienced in my 30 some years of development work! Well Aware are REAL and TRUE!
