My time in the leadership development program as a community engagement intern with LCHT was more than I could have asked for. They are one of the only non-profit organizations that offer non-traditional intern positions and focus on their interns needs and goals. Everything I experienced was done with intention and they truly cared for my personal growth as a leader. There stance in the anti-trafficking movement is authentic and transparent. They hold true to their values and ensure interdisciplinary responses, in depth research, inclusiveness and hold space for each other which is rare in any organization, but crucial for the work they do.

They run the national hotline that is available 24/7 and they have trained over 30,000 people (including, but not limited too first responders, judges, healthcare professionals, other non-profits, shelters, at risk youth, etc.) LCHT’s statewide Action Plan is informed by extensive research and designed for communities across Colorado to combat trafficking and support survivors.

I can’t say enough about LCHT and the amazing work they do.
