Review for Matthew Kelly Foundation, Cincinnati, OH, USA
The first time I heard Matthew Kelly speak was on a video back in 1995. Since that time I have read all but one, I believe, of his books, attended several retreats, and have heard him speak a number of times. The message he brings to all people of all ages is timely, inspiring, and desperately needed in our modern age. Between 2006 and 2009, I facilitated his Living Every Day with Passion and Purpose DVD Series at my home parish once a year by offering a 6 week series for parishioners. My pastor and myself have talked about how these 3 annual sessions have impacted our parish and created a renewed Catholic spirit. What's great about Matthew's writings/talks is that it is practical and applicable to every day living. All of his materials are thought-provoking and lead to important self-reflection which brings about change, growth, and renewed energy for life.
More Feedback
I've personally experienced the results of this organization in...
my parish. After facilitating Matthew's DVD Series, there was greater Mass attendance by all who attended the sessions, they began participating in other ministries in the parish, and people are using phrases from Matthew's books/talks.
If I had to make changes to this organization, I would...
provide all the financial support they need to increase their staff so that more could go out and deliver the message.
What I've enjoyed the most about my experience with this nonprofit is...
Engaging with so many people from my parish as well as other faith communities to share the message.
The kinds of staff and volunteers that I met were...
exceptional, very helpful, personable, and professional.
If this organization had 10 million bucks, it could...
make a significant impact in the lives of all people.
Ways to make it better...
I can't think of anything that would have made it better.
In my opinion, the biggest challenges facing this organization are...
possibly financial in our current economic climate. It is also difficult to attract the attention of people today due to all the distractions of the world and technology.
One thing I'd also say is that...
The Matthew Kelly Foundation is making a difference.
