I first learned about REEF 3 years ago while on a dive trip. I am so grateful I did! This is an excellent organization, dedicated to the conservation of my beloved oceans and her creatures. The people at REEF are knowledgeable and passionate about their mission, and just all-around awesome humans.

I have become involved in the REEF fish survey project, where I perform underwater surveys of fish populations while diving. This data is used by marine scientists and others for important conservation work. Participating in this program has been so rewarding. REEF’s education programs are quite effective, and left me well-prepared and confident in my knowledge of fish species in order to do surveys. I love being a citizen scientist, knowing I am having a positive impact for marine life!
