I can't say enough good things about this Great Pyrenees rescue organization...We were fortunate to be able to adopt Franklin (the best dog in the world!) from them 18 months ago! We have been nothing but impressed by the care they take in matching dogs with owners and with the care they provide to each dog that passes through their kennel. The care didn't stop once we adopted Frankie, either...They followed up for weeks after to make sure all of us were doing well. When we decided we were ready to adopt a sibling for Frankie, SPGPC was the first place we looked. We discovered the most amazing 'tripawd,' Skip, and really wanted him to join our family! Of course SPCPC wanted to make sure the dogs would get along before we adopted Skip, so we had to bring Frankie back to the rescue for an evaluation. We were very nervous that Frankie would be traumatized and think we were going to leave him once he saw the kennel again...We were worried for nothing! Frankie was SO HAPPY to see Pam & Jim who run the rescue, which is a testament to the amazing treatment these dogs receive.
