I would give The Wild Animal Sanctuary a ten if it was possible. Visiting the Sanctuary is simply a joy. To see so many animals being able to live out there lives in peace and health is indescribable. I visit many times a year, and I am a committed donor. The animals are kept in multi-acre habitats. Most have underground dens at a depth that maintains temperatures that are neither too hot or too cold. My favorite part of the Sanctuary is the 1.5 mile above the animals walkway (3 miles round trip). Unlike zoos, visitors are not face to face with pacing, stressed out animals. The animals are at peace. It warms my heart.
