I live about an hour's drive from TWAS. This sanctuary is the real deal, staffed by the most caring people I've ever met. I go there at least monthly, taking friends and family almost every time, because the mission is paramount, educating people is crucial, and I want folks to see exactly how a rescue organization should be run. The animals are at the top of everyone's priority here, their comfort and care, all geared to their backgrounds, needs and personalities. I willingly and happily give TWAS whatever monies I have extra, whether to give vet care to the animals or help to purchase the land for the Refuge.
