I have worked and volunteered at and donated to IDRF for several years. It's a very tightly run nonprofit with minimal overheads. Each grantee is vetted for impact and transparency. Through personal visits to their project sites, I have seen tremendous impact, particularly in the development of marginalized children, rural entrepreneurship of women and medical care and infrastructure in remote areas. Their funded projects have multiplier effect, which means high returns on donors' money. The founder and CEO of IDRF is a passionate gentleman who has devoted his life to the cause of uplifting poor in India.
