I am Samuel Tabiri, a final year student offering BSc Statistics at the Kwame Nkrumah University of science and technology (KNUST).
I am a beneficiary of Educational Pathways International (EPI) and this organization (family) has made a great impact in my life in many ways. Through this institution, I have leant a lot and the application of what I have learnt in this Organization has resulted in the improvement in my life. For instance, through EPI, I have learnt how to manage my time effectively, plan very well, relate socially and understand the cultures of people from different background.
Also, through EPI, I have been able to perform extremely excellent in my academics due to the guidance, support and motivation I receive from the EPI.
This institution has really given me the mandate to pursue my academic career and goals in the programme I am offering. I realized most of the institutions in the country lack accurate information which serves as a hindrance to their contribution to the progress of this country. As a result, the development rate of this country is unsatisfactory. Offering BSc Statistics would offer me the chance of becoming a Data Analyst to enable me analyze data effectively, provide reliable information and facts to these institutions to ensure their progress, thereby contributing to the development of the country.
Furthermore, with the knowledge acquired, I will be able to educate members in my community by impacting the knowledge gained to the members and also set up an institution that will help people facing any challenge they have about any information or data set they have to enable them realize how they can extract meaningful and useful ideas they can extract from the data set or information they have.
In addition, with the research procedures and skills acquired from my career, it will enable me conduct a tangible research that will enable me provide hypothesis and solutions that can curb phenomenal challenges confronting the society.

For instance, providing a high quality statistic on the population can be used for central and local finance allocation, housing and land use planning, health care planning, providing educational facilities and also preparing government budgets. This will improve transparency and accountability of policy making, leading to good governance.
