My Nonprofit Reviews

Review for Eaglehorse Foundation, Talent, OR, USA
Limited amount of time but Google and local media sources would find that this nonprofit was corrupt and poorly run. It's director, Joann Sebby, kept funds intended to feed and house the animals. Taxes were never filed. Donations were not put where they were promised. Severely corrupt. From financial fraud to reports (check with Jackson County) of animal abuse. Bad, bad news.

I've personally experienced the results of this organization in...
see above...
If I had to make changes to this organization, I would...
have the director (or former director?) arrested for theft and corruption.. find more volunteers and find board members who will make decisions to benefit the animals and the children
What I've enjoyed the most about my experience with this nonprofit is...
working with the kids and animals before realizing the director and half of the board were corrupt
The kinds of staff and volunteers that I met were...
hard working and well meaning
If this organization had 10 million bucks, it could...
wreak a lot of havoc and help the director get fatter and lazier.. without her and several board members, it could make a difference in the lives of children and animals in dire need
Ways to make it better...
the mission was actually what was being worked towards
In my opinion, the biggest challenges facing this organization are...
lack of funds and a director who lacked work ethic, integrity and honesty
One thing I'd also say is that...
records exist at county courthouse, animal control and online to document the abuse and the fraud
When was your last experience with this nonprofit?
