Debi Metcalf started Stolen Horse International, her own horse, Idaho, was stolen. She saw a definite need for a network of caring people who could disseminate information, and talk to the people who had missing or stolen equines on a personal level..This organization has had many successes, equines returned to their homes, and sadly, has even provided some closure, when the results were not what we wanted them to be.. This is a group of caring people from everywhere, and they also have helped out listing missing animals during our natural disasters... We all worked on a case of a missing horse here in MA, several years ago, so many people turned out, from throughout Southern MA.. it was heartening to see...As volunteers, we all have the same goal.. Bringing these horses home! Thank You, Debi.
