I have been Facebook connected to Wings of Love for several years now. I live too far to foster, adopt or even volunteer but several times a year I revisit the website in the hope that I could make any of this work.
Hopefully, this comment regarding my virtual experiences will count toward them receiving a GNP designation because I would not be giving my time so often to peruse and reconsider most organizations out there in my quest to be an advocate for and/or owner of a pet bird.
They clearly have the best interests of their birds in place at the foundation of everything they do and this is clear in their requirements, etc.
If I can "see this" online over a significant amount of time as I have, I really believe they are worthy of this designation.

I am proud to volunteer with these people. Many are volunteers like me but together everyone manages to make a strong impact on those they work with. You can see traces of that it in the riders as well as with their families.

I found them while searching for volunteer opportunities, combining a desire to work with people with special needs and to do something really different for me (which is working with horses).

As is widely known, horses can be incredibly healing and I am greatly honored to be a part of that once a week. I am still learning the horse end of things but hope to continue for a long time.
