I volunteer as a foster mom 4 Connor and Milles Dog Rescue. I love the heart of all rescue organizations. But a very special place tugs at my heart for the most unlikely to be rescued and face dying alone, heartbroken by the loss of their family, forced into a cold environment and they are so afraid. This is when you see CMDR step forward. My first rescue w CMDR was for a hospice tiny dog, she was old and in very bad terminal condition. She was mercifully euthanized after only a week with me. But she was not alone, she was loved, she was medicated for pain, then her frail little body was giving up. I held her and loved her as she peacefully passed. Then there many other fur angels i had the honor to foster, others in need that were saved, treated and adopted to happy caring families. This organization and the loving, dedicated foster families that give their all hold a special place in my heart.
