Review for Educational Pathways International, Incline Village, NV, USA
I am most appreciative of being a beneficiary of Educational Pathways International (EPI) scholarship, for continuing to give us comprehensive scholarship and even more, for increasing the annual scholarship funds. This is remarkable in such a time when the whole world has been plunged into economic crisis that has left in its trail, an ongoing panic.
No continent has been spared; it has trickled down to each and every corner of the globe and my country, Ghana, has been one of the worst hit. My name is Sharon Dufie Agyemang-Prempeh, a fifth year medical student of the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (KNUST).
EPI has been my pillar of support since my inclusion in the scholarship scheme in 2018, and has sponsored me in my pursuit to become a world class physician. When Ghana recorded its highest inflation rate in twenty-two (22) years, households and individuals alike were thrown into total disarray. Despite this dire picture, I am happy to say that the help I received from the EPI scholarship scheme has shielded me against the extremely harsh economic crisis. This is because the EPI significantly increased the scholarship amount to help me cope with the current atmosphere.
As a result, I have been freed of any worries over my finances, allowing me to have the peace of mind to focus on my studies. I have been able to pay my school fees, secured my hostel accommodation, procure all the requisite learning materials for my programme and pocket money. In addition, I have had the opportunity to participate in an academic progress meeting and a luncheon this year. I am proud to admit that these benefits have had a positive influence on my grades.
Considering the dedication and attentiveness shown by the leadership of EPI, I am convinced that this scholarship programme truly cares about our holistic growth.
In sum, EPI deserves a resounding applause for their consistency and genuine concern for us. I pray for long life for all those who have contributed to making our lives easier in spite of the obvious global challenges. Aesop, the fabulist once said, “No act of kindness, no matter how small, is ever wasted.” In the future, I hope to positively influence in the Ghanaian healthcare system in Ghana and beyond as a way to pay this favour done me forward.

I must say that every day that goes by makes me more grateful to be a part of the Educational Pathways International(EPI) family. My excitement is no surprise to my family and to the many other beneficiaries of this scholarship programme. My name is Sharon Dufie Agyemang- Prempeh, a third year medical student of the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (KNUST), Ghana and I have been an EPI scholarship recipient since 2018.
The support from EPI became most significant during the lockdown period. During the COVID 19 nationwide lockdown, it was the financial support from the EPI that buffered me in those adverse times. Using my scholarship funds, I was able to purchase data for my online classes, buy my stationery and cover all other educational expenses that came with the online learning format. Thus, I was able to participate fully in all my classes and obtain very good grades.
Aside the financial support I received, I also received emotional support from the EPI online platform(WhatsApp). Our Program Director, Madam Eunice as we affectionately call her, always sent out encouraging messages to us and also checked on us from time to time throughout the lockdown period. Additionally the warmth and harmony displayed in our group made the isolation of the COVID 19 lockdown less daunting and more bearable. This gave me the hope and the peace of mind I needed to know that everything was going to be alright.
If given the opportunity, I could go on and on about how wonderful the Educational Pathways International has been to my family and I but time and space would not permit me. Thus, I end on this note; that the EPI family has been a true family and will continue to have a special place in my heart. May EPI continue to grow from strength to strength!

My name is Sharon Dufie Agyemang-Prempeh and a second year Medical student at the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (KNUST) located at Kumasi in the Ashanti region of Ghana.
I must say that after a year with Educational Pathways International (EPI) I have seen a tremendous amount of progress in my life. Aside the financial relief EPI has granted me, EPI has also provided me with valuable professional skills through regular meetings on relevant topics.
Additionally, EPI has provided me with an avenue to interact with students from different academic and social backgrounds by organizing events such as general meetings and luncheons among beneficiaries. These interactions have helped me to improve my public speaking and networking skills. As result, I feel confident about my prospects in the job market and my holistic development as an individual.
In conclusion I am forever grateful to EPI for what they have done for my family and I. I cannot say with enough words how thankful I am to EPI for helping so many needy students like myself. I will encourage more students to apply for the EPI scholarship so that they can also enjoy all of the benefits of EPI. May God richly bless EPI.
