I had the most wonderful experience with the Tandana Foundation. I visited as an undergraduate student with a group from my University. We served in the most stunning community in the Otavalo region where the food was delicious, the people were beyond welcoming, and the atmosphere was enlightening. I couldn't recommend more going on a trip with this organization. Their model of community engagement keeps the community's needs at the center of the trip and cultivates a spirit of cultural exchange between the two groups. I had difficulty leaving at the end of the week due to the strong bonds I had made with my group and with the community. I hope to return to Montilon Chupa and Ecuador at some point, hopefully with Tandana!
