Review for Educational Pathways International, Incline Village, NV, USA

Rating: 5 stars

I am Divine Yao Agbobli, a final year Civil Engineering student of Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (KNUST), Kumasi-Ghana. After completing my high school education, I gained admission to study Civil Engineering, a four-year programme leading to the award of BSc. Civil Engineering degree.
My four-year journey of studying Civil Engineering in KNUST was made a success after I joined the Educational Pathways International (EPI) scholarship programme in November 2018. Having joined this great organization have had a lot of positive impacts on my social, economic and academic life.
Joining the EPI program has offered me the opportunity to focus more on my studies, participate actively in vacation industrial training programs as part of developing myself towards realization of my academic and career goals.
My life has never been the same after I got enrolled on the EPI programme. My leadership potentials has been enhanced, I could speak more openly and confidently in public. Also, I have learnt the act of independent thinking and my creativity has been improved. Thanks to the support of EPI through the organization of self-development programs to improve upon the academic performance and prepare us, the beneficiaries for the ever dynamic and competitive job market.
Studying Civil Engineering in the University has always being a part of my plans to accomplish my passion and desire to contribute to the development of Ghana’s infrastructural. I am therefore utilizing every opportunity and resources at my disposal to the optimum so as to harness my potentials towards achieving these long-term goal.
Apart from practicing as a Civil Engineer, I have a dream of establishing a non-governmental institution with the vision to equip young people in deprived communities with skills in the area of Information Technology (IT) as part of measures to equip them with digital skills with which they can earn a living.
I would like to express my profound gratitude to Educational Pathways International for affording me such an amazing opportunity to study towards the success of my academic and career goals. I look forward to replicating that kind gesture in reaching out to others, and together, we would all be great.

I am Divine Yao Agbobli, a third-year Civil Engineering student of Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (KNUST), Kumasi-Ghana.
I joined Educational Pathways International (EPI) scholarship programme in November 2018. Having joined this great organization have had a lot of positive impacts on my social, economic and academic life. Except for the support of EPI over these past years, my educational dreams would have been shuttered.
I must say joining EPI has afforded me the opportunity to focus more on my studies and provided me with the opportunity to partake in mandatory industrial training during long vacations towards achieving my academic and career goals.
Joining EPI has also impacted and shaped many aspects of my life such as leadership, public speaking, independent thinking and creativity. Thanks to the support of EPI through organization of self-development programmes to improve upon the general livelihood of us the beneficiaries.
I chose to study Civil Engineering in the University as part of my plans to accomplish my passion and desire to contribute to the development of Ghana’s infrastructural. I am utilizing the opportunity and resources at my disposal to the optimum so as to achieve this dream. I am committed to working hard to develop myself for the corporate world where I would be at the forefront, making very good decisions that will bring to light my contributions to nation building.
Aside practicing as a Structural Engineer, I have a dream of establishing an institution to equip young people in deprived communities with skills in Information Technology as part of measures to equip them with digital skills with which they can earn a living. Through this, I believe the poverty line can be lowered.
I would like to express my profound gratitude to Educational Pathways International for affording such an amazing opportunity to accomplish my academic and career goals. I look forward to replicating this gesture in reaching out to others, and together, we would all be great.

I am Divine Yao Agbobli, a second year Civil Engineering student of Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (KNUST). Having completed high school, I looked forward to continuing to the university to read the aforementioned program with the dream of becoming a Structural Engineer. This was with the hope of helping our people combat the attacks of the sea invading our land destroying some houses and properties over the years.

However, I was doubting the possibility of realizing this dream as my parents could not afford to pay for my tertiary education. However, I did apply for admission to offer Civil Engineering at KNUST. I was able to pay my fees with some money I gathered during a year stay at home from some menial work I did.

I entered the University with the hope of securing a scholarship to help cushion me financially towards achieving my educational and career goal. During my second year at KNUST, I applied for Educational Pathways International (EPI) scholarship. By God’s grace I was selected after the interviews and was awarded a full scholarship.
And this has given me the peace of mind to concentrate solely on my studies, study very hard and focus on achieving my goals.

Having this scholarship has been of so much help to me. I am motivated to study hard, focus on achieving the best of grades in my academic work and develop my personality. Also, it has offered me the opportunity to participate in internship programs during vacations.

EPI does not only support her beneficiaries on monetary basis but has created a family where from time to time we meet and partake in life-transforming lessons such as public speaking, financial literacy, just to mention a few.
I have been offered the opportunity to have a sense of belonging and this has gone a long way to influence my social life and academic life through interaction with other beneficiaries with whom I share a common believe and motivation.

I’m very grateful to Educational Pathways International for lighting up the end of the tunnel for me and rekindling the hope that was almost lost. Just when my educational life was at the verge of shuttering, EPI indeed gave me a hope for a better tomorrow.
EPI have reaffirmed in me the spirit of social responsibility to develop myself and give back to my community.
On this account, I am doing my best by studying hard to become a successful person so that I can also touch the lives of other people just as EPI has touched my life.
I am very grateful for the impact in my life.
