Review for New Orleans Technology Council Corporation, New Orleans, LA, USA
The Louisiana Technology Council (LTC) has staying power. Not only is the organization a survivor of Katrina, more importantly it has been instrumental in bringing a whole new set of technology-based industries to our State to help rebuild our economy. We are quickly seeing the LTC become a model non-profit, and other States have now contacted us to find out how to do the same thing. Our company is delighted to help this non-profit in any way possible because we know that for each dollar we spend wit the LTC the economic impact is three to four times what we expected.
More Feedback
I've personally experienced the results of this organization in...
We've been able to grow our company's services by relationships we have founded through LTC events; to introduce our company to different markets that we would have not been able to reach otherwise, and put to use additional emerging technologies.
If I had to make changes to this organization, I would...
I would not make any changes! We just want to see the LTC continue to grow and flourish.
What I've enjoyed the most about my experience with this nonprofit is...
Their energy and commitment to an industry that is generally not that communicative.
The kinds of staff and volunteers that I met were...
Extremely resourceful, helpful, and long-term allies in the science, and technology industry.
If this organization had 10 million bucks, it could...
Not only help our State, but many others who desperately need to restructure their economy to promote high end science and technology jobs in the United States.
Ways to make it better...
I cannot think of a way that my experience with the LTC could be better. The only thing I'd like to see is that this organization have sustainable funding to ensure that they can in fact be a full Statewide organization to make the greatest difference.
In my opinion, the biggest challenges facing this organization are...
Growth. The staff works tirelessly, but at some point they will need additional resources to continue the great work that they are doing.
One thing I'd also say is that...
This is one of the most important affiliations we maintain because of what it means for both our State and the Technology industry as a whole. We value the Louisiana Technology Council and what they do immensely.
