DC Paws does so ,much with so little. Run by volunteers, DC Paws puts all its financial resources into saving the lives of animals. Pulling primarily from rural shelters in SC (but also stepping in for local DC-area shelters), DC Paws makes a big difference. The rescue works with its fosters and adopters to find the best families for loving dogs and cats - and this is an area where I've seen big improvement over the few years I've been involved with them.
