I volunteered in Otavalo, Ecuador with master gardeners from Ohio. The Tandana members were very organized and kept our group on task, as well as providing us information on Tandana's accomplishments in the region.
Everyone in our group shared the same life-altering experiences during our week long trip. Tandana arranged for us to meet many different people in villages in and around Otavalo. I believe most had received Tandana's help and were very grateful/successful of course. The impact was huge for me to actually meet these people, rather than reading about it from the comfort of my living room. We really experienced their true culture during our stay.
