MAOS (Monterey Academy of Oceanographic Science) staff, parents, and students have worked alongside Save the Whales during the annual Whalefest held on Fisherman‘s Wharf in Monterey for the past few years. As an Oceanographic Academy at Monterey High School, we have many students interested in marine life and ocean preservation.

We have greatly enjoyed working with Maris to help raise awareness of the importance of protecting the oceans. Maris is very passionate and dedicated to helping raise awareness about the endangerment of whales and other species.

We look forward to working with Maris and Save the Whales in the years to come!
