I went through Santa Monica in 2016. The assistance league came monthly. The ladies helped so much with ideas for new coping skills. My favorite was the writing activity that they did. I still use it to this day! They were very interested in hearing our stories and always had a loving ear. They let us do projects for our children which for me helped me feel like I was being proactive in there lives even when I wasn't physically there. I am amazed at the selflessness and care they brought every time. Three years later they still hold a place in my hear! Jessie Lager
