CAS has to be the finest non-profit anywhere! The team, from the top-notch staffers and vets, to the loyal and dedicated volunteers, provide the best animal care to ALL animals. They travel to areas overwhelmed by flooding, or mass turn-ins due to animal abuse or neglect, etc., and treat and eventually re-home these animals. They continue their fine work to educate to prevent animal abuse. In my 20 years of living here and watching the changes, it is so clear that their hard work has had a far-reaching impact. We are a no-kill society and no-abuse too. Their dedication comes from the heart. Plain and simple – Charleston Animal Society is the BEST. Thank you for all you do for the animals.
