We have been volunteers for The Nick Gonzales Foundation for Brain Tumor Research since the inception. The proceeds from all donations go directly to fund brain tumor research with donations to organizations such at BTTC, UTSW, and The Musella Foundation. There is less than 2% overhead for hosting an annual Gold Tournament, dinner, live and silent auctions, as many volunteers all run the organization. Thus far, the organization has donated close to $500,000 to aid in brain tumor research and help find a cure,especially for glioblastomas, which has great needs for treatment options and a cure!!! As a caregiver of a brain tumor survivor, I am honored to have met Cindy Villarreal 12 years ago by chance as she began her non-profit----a cause dear to my heart as my spouse is a now 18+ Year survivor of a brain tumor! Kind, caring organization that work solely to help raise awareness and directly profits brain tumor research in the DFW metroplex. I have been on the volunteer committee for 11+ years, and each the golf tournament ,silent auction & live auction have brought increased revenue for us to help find a cure for brain cancer!!! The org. has raised over $400,000 thus far and all proceeds benefit research for both adult & pediatric brain tumors!!!!. Proud to help them always!
