This organization is devoted to providing children and seniors in need of help, education and welfare. Their various projects include providing clothes, backpacks, hygiene kits, books, school needs and food to children in Title 1 schools. They also provide grants to students, give assistance to needy seniors in the greater Wilmington area; meals and a place to stay in a residence house (similar to Ronald McDonald House) for families with a child in the hospital to make their load less stressful. Their Thrift Shop on Eastwood Rd. Is staffed entirely by members and has proven to be invaluable to the public it serves as proceeds go back 100% to the community. This group of committed women truly know the meaning of giving back!
