Review for Friends Of Montgomery County Texas Animal Shelter, Spring, TX, USA
This organization is amazing. It provides veterinary care to animals that are in the Montgomery County Animal Shelter and to fosters that care for the animals until adopted. This organization saves hundreds of lives and without it I would hate to even think of the suffering that would happen. I am a foster and FMCTAS has helped me provide for my animals many times. The latest was a small kitten with an abcessed and ruptured eye. It was in horrible pain, but thanks to FMCTAS it is a happy, playful kitten ready for adoption. FMCTAS paid for the surgery that saved her life and gave her a chance for happiness. I cannot thank this organization enough for all that it does.

I've personally experienced the results of this organization in...
having my foster animals helped through veterinary care being given to save and/or better their lives. They are able to be placed for adoption and live their lives the way they should be, loved by a forever family.
If I had to make changes to this organization, I would...
find a way to assist them in raising more donations, so they can continue to do what they do. Help animals.
What I've enjoyed the most about my experience with this nonprofit is...
the caring and love that is shown to any animal in need.
The kinds of staff and volunteers that I met were...
dedicated and caring.
If this organization had 10 million bucks, it could...
save more lives and make this a better place for animals to live. It would provide medical care, spay and neuter clinics, education on responsible pet ownership, vacinations and food.
Ways to make it better...
more people felt the way I do and supported this non-profit with donations. Veterinary care is expensive and much help is needed.
In my opinion, the biggest challenges facing this organization are...
people. People that are not responsible. People that do not spay or neuter their animals and expect someone else to care for them. People that consider animals a throwaway commodity.
One thing I'd also say is that...
I am proud to know that there is an organization that will step up and do what is right to help prevent the suffering of animals. I challenge everyone to walk through an aninal shelter and not be affected.
