Review for Network for Teaching Entrepreneurship, New York, NY, USA
This organization spends too much on salaries and management in the New York City office and not enough on their programs (for teachers and students) around the country. I've donated for years but will not do so in the future until there are fewer high paid employees, and more going to the schools in low-income communities.

I've personally experienced the results of this organization in...
In the classroom. However, it seems the poorly paid staff outside of NYC have too much to do to be effective.
If I had to make changes to this organization, I would...
There is no real need for expensive offices on Wall Street in NYC. I would have a very small staff in the home office and more staff around the country who are doing the work with the students.
What I've enjoyed the most about my experience with this nonprofit is...
The students and teachers.
The kinds of staff and volunteers that I met were...
In the small offices outside of NYC, the staff was great. The staff in NYC is not easy to work with, or pleasant.
If this organization had 10 million bucks, it could...
Do great work, IF it decided not to spend it on itself, which it is doing right now.
Ways to make it better...
The home office was better run. They spend too much on themselves, especially top management. The CEO is not nice, and the home office does not seem to appreciate donations or donations of volunteering.
In my opinion, the biggest challenges facing this organization are...
They have lost their focus and mission.
One thing I'd also say is that...
too much is being spent on rent and plush offices, and not enough on the real program.
