I was a student that traveled to Nepal for the first time, studying abroad! A group of my classmates and I worked alongside Scott and the women of Her Farm to be able to create an Emergency Shelter Guide for the farm's use, following the series of earthquakes that occurred in 2015. Being able to work with the women of the farm, Scott and even the local villagers was great. Immediately arriving on the farm, I fell in love with it. The women are hard workers and made us all feel comfortable. It was cool to experience their culture and learn about the amazing projects that the Mountain Fund is providing for these women, like having their own broadcasting radio station! I wish we could have stayed longer but, the sisters will be greatly missed. If I am able to come back to Her Farm later in my life I definitely will!
