I felt better of this charity when I donated 6 years ago. I chose it because I thought it necessary to address hunger in the US more than overseas (get your own house in order first). The level of compensation of the founders (related family members) seemed excessive for the size of the charity.

After donating I was deluged by glossy printed mailings asking for more. Searching for No Kid Hungry often yields no results. It is now under Share Our Strength. They won’t get another dime of my money. I’m looking more at Direct Relief which has more choice of where my contribution goes and the CEO for that billion dollar charity makes less than the two founders of this wasteful charity
