I have a unique perspective to rate Volunteer New York!: I'm a former board member and chair, and recently stepped down as its Executive Director. Unless you have lived in an area where there is no similar volunteer connector organization, you may not realize the good fortune we have in Westchester, Rockland and Putnam that Volunteer New York! is going strong into its 70th year. The Board, Staff and Office Volunteers work together as a dedicated nimble team. The last 6 months beautifully illustrate my point and the focus on the future is always bright.
