Review for Voices For Children Foundation, Inc., Miami, FL, USA
As a Guardian ad Litem in Miami-Dade County for the past 17 years, I can truly appreciate all that Voices For Children Foundation has done for the abused, abandoned and neglected children in our community. As a reputable charity for over 25 years, Voices holds wonderful events such as their signature Be A Voice Gala, and their Be A Voice awards luncheon to raise awareness and funds for this valuable and much needed cause.

I have personally experienced the results of this organization in seeing the difference it makes in the life of each child I interact with. When a case is successfully completed, I know that it is the GAL that is able to make the difference.
If I had to make changes to this organization, I would...
I would allow this organization to do fundraising for all the children in Southern Florida, instead of just the limited area of Miami-Dade. They have a great work ethic and so much for the funds raised go directly back to the children.

I've enjoyed the interaction with the children. It has been really rewarding to donate to an organization with such a good cause, helping our community's most vulnerable children

Wonderful! Everyone is so passionate and dedicated to these kids. Voices truly makes each experience better than the next. I especially had fun wrapping gifts during the Holiday Toy Drive, and am glad I was able to donate to the kids.
If this organization had 10 million bucks, it could...
provide representation for all children in Miami-Dade and expand it's children's needs. They provide back-packs and supplies for kids going back to school, but could truly expand that program to give additional essential items.
Ways to make it better...
Voices was able to afford to have more staff members. They do such a wonderful job with the staff that they have, but would be able to do so much more for the community with greater/recurring donations.
In my opinion, the biggest challenges facing this organization are...
Funding. All organizations seem to be having difficultly, but Voices is one of those that has always had a really low operating budget, because they give back to the kids so much. I would encourage all to donate to this organization to help the children.

As a volunteer for over 17 years, I've enjoyed my experience very much. I look forward to 17 more rewarding years working with Voices For Children.
