Review for Faith Aloud, St. Louis, MO, USA
Faith Aloud helps people who are in spiritual turmoil find peace that releases them from the drain of guilt and shame when choosing to abort a problem pregnancy. Their writings, phone counseling, and videos are a powerful comfort and strength in the midst of anti-abortion bombardment when women are making a major life decision to end a pregnancy. When patients come to The Hope Clinic for Women, where I work, and are assailed by loud, judgmental protesters as they walk in to the clinic, Faith Aloud materials salve the wounds and strengthen people's faith in a God of love and mercy. I've seen these materials make the difference between a patient having a distressing, painful abortion and one that is physically more bearable due to their sense of spiritual peace.
More Feedback
I've personally experienced the results of this organization in...
the emotional and spiritual relief our patients show after they have read materials or watched the Faith Aloud video.
If I had to make changes to this organization, I would...
give them a huge financial boost, so Faith Aloud could spread all over the U.S. and Canada.
What I've enjoyed the most about my experience with this nonprofit is...
The Director uses the experience of the abortion care providers - especially those of us who are counselors - and is both creative and prolific in writing materials and making videos that are PERFECT (relevant, user-friendly, empowering) for our patients!
The kinds of staff and volunteers that I met were...
committed, friendly, knowledgeable, and energetic.
If this organization had 10 million bucks, it could...
make a positive impact on so many more people who are suffering spiritually because the well-financed anti-abortion fanatics use religion to shame and condemn good people making hard reproductive decisions.
Ways to make it better...
It couldn't have been better!
In my opinion, the biggest challenges facing this organization are...
financial backing.
One thing I'd also say is that...
The world would be a better place if Faith Aloud would have a strong presence in every major city!
