This place is beyond amazing! The first time I visited the shelter, the staff took the time to show me all the dogs I was interested in meeting, along with answering all my questions. The place looked and smelled better than expected with the overwhelming amount of homeless pets they are caring for. It is very obvious this shelter plays such an important part in the four-state community. They also provide low-cost spay/neuter services to the public, which saves their customers hundreds of dollars in veterinarian fees. Thank you Joplin Humane Society for everything you do to save the lives of the homeless, unwanted and abused dogs and cats in Joplin and surrounding areas. I wish more members of our community would commit to volunteering. It is such an awesome feeling! You are rock stars!!
